Lavoro cushion consists of two elements. This is the upper table top (made of furniture slab or wood) and lower fastened cushion (made of velvet) filled with granulate which enables the cushion to be placed at different angles.

The Tavola tray consists of two elements. This is upper wooden tray and lower fastened cushion filled with granulate which enables placing tray at a different angle.

Inside there is a special granulate (foamy polystyrene). Its biggest advantage is resistance to water, mould, fungus and different bacteria. It is easy for processing, does not create dust, does not cause allergies, is not harmful to the health. To prove this, it has been allowed to stay in contact with food.

To use a table, a flat surface is needed, whereas it is not necessary while using our products. This is due to the fact that the lower cushion adjusts to the surface. To place a cushion all you need is your knee. Moreover, it is much more stable than the table which can collapse easily in comparison with the cushion.

Most of all it will prolong your laptop liveliness as it will not be endangered by overheating. What is especially important for men is that the cushion protects the crotch from overheating. By placing the Lavoro cushion in any place and at any angle, you might work in a more comfortable way and it does not matter whether you work with laptop, take your notes or do your nails.

It is possible to place an order for a cushion or tray of unusual dimensions under the condition that the order will include more than 15 pieces at one time. The same condition is valid when it comes to an unusual colour (of table top or material).

Generally, we do not produce the lower cushion from different types of material as then we would have to import new material for each new order. This would require testing how the new material would behave as far as its resistance to attrition, setting snap fasteners and unsetting them in the upper cushion, resistance to ironing, and behaviour during usage. We want this material to be soft to the touch, solid and comfortable at the same time (so that it will not slide from somebody's knees). The ideal material for this purpose is velvet and that is why this is the only material that we have decided to use.

A Logo can be effected on a wooden (pine) table top only. There is no such possibility when it comes to a furniture slab. It is made by the special plotter which burns out the logo (or any other pattern, motif) with a laser in a particular place in the table top or tray.

When it comes to the Lavoro cushion its production takes about one week due to to the tabletop. The same time is needed to produce the Tavola tray (without burning-out any decoration). However, if the product is going to have a logo (or any other decorative motif) burnt-out, it takes approximately 3-4 weeks.

We do not recommend any greasy chemicals (milk lotions, chemicals for furniture in spray) because they make the surface smooth and slippery which may result in a laptop's sliding. We do recommend cleaning the surface with a cloth wet with wash-up liquid or in liquid for washing glass.

Yes, this true. The cushion is fastened with snaps. It can be unfastened and washed when necessary. However, please remember that the temperature during washing should not be higher than 30 degrees of Celsius and not to dry the cushion in the tumble drier (it is best to let it dry in horizontal position). With each product we enclose instructions on how to take care of the product to keep it durable and preserve its appearance.

To avoid this problem, we use a thicker type of granulate. The weight of a laptop is not significant enough to crush the granulate. This concern is unnecessary.
